About the client

The LiveArt startup is focused on distributing Web3 ideas and concepts, such as decentralization and blockchain technologies, in fine art. They’ve collected an impressively large base of artists and their artworks featuring current information to showcase on their website and attract industry professionals to participate in NFT auctions.

About the client

About the product

LiveArt provides access to the database of traditional and digital works from a wide range of artists, including renowned names like Andy Warhol, Vincent van Gogh, Gerhard Richter, and Chris Levine. This platform lets collectors, advisors, dealers, funds, and galleries explore artworks currently on sale, estimate prices, view total sales volumes, check upcoming live auctions, and much more. Modern artists can add their artworks to LiveArt’s database, while crypto wallet holders can mint NFTs and NFT fractions directly on the platform.

Challenge overview

The client’s initial purpose was to create an attractive UI for their artwork database. At the same time, their team had a lot of Web3-related ideas they wanted to implement on their platform, such as an NFT marketplace, blockchain games, and a fractional art investment system. The DigitalSuits team was ready for such a challenge and well-geared to bring the client’s ideas to life.

Challenge overview

Our solutions

  • LiveArt website development: The client’s website is built with Next.js components brought together with the Plasmic website builder. We structured the website based on two main areas – fine art and Web3. Our dedicated developers implemented designs and features for a smooth user experience, such as a ticker with trending artwork in the header section and a customer profile to track the latest updates in their preferred category and manage purchases.

  • Art database UI: DigitalSuits’ developers actively participated in creating an exclusive UI for the fine art database, ensuring easy navigation for investors and providing essential information, such as market capitalization and risk-adjusted return. Working closely with the client's development team, our frontend developers integrated the database with UI, implemented filters by country of origin, art style, and market performance, and added interactive graphs to display the requested data.

Our solution LiveArt

  • Analytics visualization for artist pages: Each artist and artwork has a dedicated page on the website. We visualized data such as price history, past sales, annual returns, artist career paths, and more on graphs and charts.

  • Crypto-payment integration: Users can connect their Ethereum crypto wallets, such as Gate Wallet and MetaMask, to purchase NFTs and collect digital items. We ensured this integration by leveraging Web3 libraries and blockchain technology capabilities.

  • Blockchain game creation: Our specialists developed games where users can earn points and then use them on the platform. Visitors can apply their art knowledge to estimate artwork prices or guess artists to gain rewards.

Blockchain game creation

  • NFT minting system implementation: Users with connected crypto wallets can mint NFTs, which means they can purchase a certain number of tokens or get free digital art items with just one click. DigitalSuits’ team integrated the website's UI with Web3 infrastructure for seamless blockchain contract processing.

  • Fractional art system integration: Recently, LiveArt joined a fractional art initiative where everyone can invest in a small portion – a shard – of a high-value artwork like Andy Warhol's. Our developers created a UI to showcase such works and let users purchase shards, earn referral rewards, and get milestone collectibles.

Results

To sum up, we’ve developed the LiveArt website and integrated art database UI with statistics visualization. Our team also implemented Web3 technologies to ensure NFT minting and crypto-payments. Additionally, we created a blockchain game and participated in developing fractional art system integration.

As a result, LiveArt has a modern, innovative platform with user-friendly UI and the latest Web3 technologies implemented. This lets them attract crypto fans and new audiences in the fine art industry as well as find investors for further startup development.
