The successful candidate is passionate about delivering adaptive and creative solutions to UI/UX design problems by staying up to date with best practices and emerging trends in user experience design and user interface technology.
For this role, it's essential to have experience in the ecommerce domain and strong communication skills in English. This includes gathering requirements and suggesting improvements during calls with clients.
Requirements
5+ years of commercial experience as a UI/UX Designer
Minimum 3 years of recent hands-on experience designing ecommerce websites and digital products
Proven experience designing and improving ecommerce experiences that drive business results
Strong portfolio showcasing UX thinking, UI craft, and business impact
Portfolio must include at least 4 ecommerce case studies
Experience with brand design, visual identity systems, and translating brand strategy into digital experiences
Ability to define and apply visual direction, color systems, and tone of voice based on client goals and target audience
Upper-Intermediate English (B2+) or higher with confidence communicating directly with clients
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain and defend design decisions
Active daily use of AI tools to improve speed, research, ideation, workflows, and execution
Curious about AI, emerging technologies, and continuous self-development
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and take ownership
Proficiency in Figma and other modern design tools

Responsibilities
Internal website:
Working with the marketing team on DigitalSuits branding and website design.
Adhering to style standards on fonts, colors, and images.
Designing UI elements and tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets for digital assets.
Testing UI elements such as CTAs, banners, page layouts, and page designs for landing pages.
Developing and conceptualizing a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for the brand.
Create original graphic designs (e.g. images and tables)
Keep abreast of competitor products and industry trends.
Ecommerce design:
Lead UX/UI design for ecommerce websites and digital products, with a focus on optimizing shopping experiences and driving measurable business results
Develop comprehensive user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs that align with user needs and client goals
Map end-to-end customer journeys, identify pain points, and design solutions that improve conversion and usability
Apply responsive design principles and ensure all deliverables meet usability and accessibility standards
Identify and troubleshoot UX/UI issues across web and mobile surfaces
Brand & visual direction:
Translate brand strategy and visual identity into cohesive digital experiences
Define and apply color systems, typography, and tone of voice based on client goals and target audience
Maintain visual consistency across products and platforms, contributing to or owning design systems
Client & stakeholder collaboration:
Communicate directly with clients to gather requirements, present design decisions, and defend solutions with clarity and confidence
Facilitate design reviews and align stakeholders around UX direction and visual strategy
Translate business goals into user-centered design solutions and articulate the reasoning behind design choices
Cross-functional collaboration:
Work closely with PMs, developers, and business stakeholders throughout the full project lifecycle
Collaborate with development teams to ensure implementation meets design intent and usability standards
Provide design guidance and feedback within the team; support junior designers when applicable
Process & growth:
Actively use AI tools to accelerate research, ideation, workflow efficiency, and execution
Stay current on ecommerce trends, emerging design tools, and evolving best practices
Iterate on designs based on feedback, data, and usability findings
Take ownership of tasks, manage priorities independently, and contribute to continuous team improvement
