Role Description

We are looking for a talented Shopify Plus Developer to join our growing team! DigitalSuits is expanding its operations and we're excited to build a dedicated team of developers from LATAM to work on innovative ecommerce projects. As a trusted Shopify partner and top-rated ecommerce developer in the US, Europe and Ukraine, we're now focusing on scaling our team to better serve clients in the US. Technical knowledge

• 4+ years of commercial experience in web development
• 3+ years of commercial experience in Shopify
• 1+ year of commercial experience using Storefront API (Customer, Metaobjects)
• 2+ years of commercial experience with Filter/Section/Cart APIs
• Proficiency in Shopify/Shopify Plus development
• Expertise in Shopify Plus exclusive features (Shopify Functions, UI extensions, B2B)
• Solid understanding of Shopify 2.0 and its benefits in comparison to Shopify 1.0
• Understanding of the difference between the Rest API and the GraphQL API
• Strong insight into frontend development using JS, Liquid, HTML/CSS, Less/Sass
• Experience with React and Node.js
• Experience with project-tracking software (Jira, Asana, ClickUp)
• Understanding of GitFlow and its best practices
• In-depth knowledge of the complete ecommerce development lifecycle
• Knowledge of the Admin API
• Spec-driven and context-driven development experience using LLM agents
• Understanding of Shopify app development and deployment process
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable web applications
• Analyze requirements and collaborate with team members to produce thoughtful software designs
• Provide accurate estimates for work items
• Communicate with the client and propose thoughtful solutions (communication via messengers/meetings)
• Develop plugins with a high-quality, bug-free delivery flow for business users
• Maintain coding standards and conduct code reviews
• Develop technical documentation for efficient project support
• Facilitate engineering processes to ensure high-quality software solutions and engineering excellence
• Help and collaborate with teammates
• Work on self-improvement according to our internal skills grade matrix

Location

This is a remote role, and you can be based anywhere in Latin America, but you must overlap at least 3 hours with CET.
