Technical knowledge

• 3+ years of commercial experience in web development
• 3+ years of commercial experience in Shopify
• 3+ years of commercial experience with Filter/Section/Cart APIs
• 1+ year of commercial experience using Storefront API (Customer, Metaobjects)
• Proficiency in developing using Shopify/Shopify Plus
• Expertise in Shopify Plus exclusive features (Shopify Functions, UI extensibilities, B2B)
• Solid understanding of Shopify 2.0 and its benefits in comparison with Shopify 1.0
• Proficiency and commercial experience working with GraphQL
• Strong insight into frontend development using JS, Liquid, HTML/CSS, Less/Sass
• Experience with project tracking software (Jira, Asana, ClickUp)
• Understanding of GitFlow and its best practices
• 1+ year of experience using Cursor, Claude Code, and Codex
• In-depth knowledge of complete ecommerce life cycle development
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• At least, Upper-Intermediate English level or higher

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable web application
• Analyze requirements, and collaborate with team members to produce thoughtful software designs
• Provide accurate estimates on work items
• Communicate with the client and propose thoughtful solutions (communication via messengers/meetings)
• Develop plugins with high-quality and bug-free delivery flow to business users
• Maintain coding standards and conduct code reviews
• Develop technical documentation for efficient project support
• Facilitate engineering operation process to ensure high-quality software solutions concerning engineering excellence
• Help and collaborate with teammates
• Work on self-improvement according to our internal skills grade matrix

Would be a plus

• Theoretical knowledge of Admin API
• Experience with Node.js
• Understanding of Shopify app development and deployment process
