DigitalSuits is seeking a seasoned QA Engineer to join our dynamic ecommerce team. The ideal candidate will possess a meticulous eye for detail, a passion for quality assurance, and a deep understanding of web testing methodologies. With a focus on ensuring the seamless functionality and user experience of ecommerce platform, this role is integral to achieving our mission of connecting businesses and consumers in a digital marketplace.
Experience
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a QA Engineer.
- Nice to have 1.5 years of experience in the ecommerce domain.
- Practical experience in Web testing.
- Experience in functional and non-functional testing.
- Experience in setting up QA processes from scratch.
- Communication with clients and stakeholders, including demonstrating work results through demos and reports.
Technical skills
- Good knowledge of testing theory.
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Deep understanding of different testing approaches, principles, and types.
- Strong skills in writing, analyzing, and maintaining QA documentation.
Additional skills
- Ability to identify risks and devise mitigation strategies.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate a high level of time management.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Upper-Intermediate English level.
Will be a plus
- Experience with Shopify.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to manual and exploratory test coverage during release cycles.
- Increase test coverage of functional requirements.
- Create and maintain test documentation.
- Report to stakeholders about results or demo conducting.
- Set up and integrate QA processes in the current project state.
- Work closely with developers to ensure effective testing.
