DevOps Engineer (Junior+/Middle)

About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated DevOps Engineer (Junior+/Middle) to join our growing team at DigitalSuits.

You’ll work closely with developers and project managers to build, maintain, and improve cloud-based infrastructure for our web and SaaS products.

This role is a great fit for someone who’s already confident with Linux administration and cloud environments, but eager to grow and take on more complex DevOps challenges in a supportive and modern engineering culture.

Requirements

  • At least 1.5 years of commercial experience as a DevOps Engineer focused on cloud infrastructure.

  • Strong knowledge of Linux (Debian/Ubuntu) and server administration.

  • Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP cloud platforms.

  • Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).

  • Proficiency with containerization (Docker, DDEV).

  • Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar).

  • Solid understanding of network technologies, protocols, and performance optimization.

  • Strong scripting skills with Bash.

  • English proficiency at Intermediate level or higher

Would be a plus

  • Experience with Azure or hosting providers (Hetzner, OVH).

  • Knowledge of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.

  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog).

  • Experience with Windows Server and IIS administration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and improve cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or GCP.

  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar).

  • Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

  • Containerize applications using Docker and manage development environments (e.g., DDEV).

  • Monitor system performance and ensure infrastructure reliability and scalability.

  • Automate routine processes and deployment workflows using Bash scripts.

  • Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and optimize deployment processes.

  • Participate in planning and improving DevOps practices within the company.
