Description

We are a small-sized company, and we put great value on ethical standards like transparency and open-book management. We build a transparent relationship with our customers as it boosts us and clients to the next level. Being honest and straightforward is paramount for us as only in this way we and our clients are able to share ideas and concerns and to discuss project processes, pricing, and business values without hesitation.

Why do we value it so much? Because we are passionate about what we do, that is why it is essential for us to build clear and open-book management inside and outside the company. We are convinced that honesty is the best policy, as it helps us to be upfront and keep our clients’ projects safe from any issues that can emerge during the development process. Certainly, everyone benefits from this approach.

Thanks to our expertise, we know that open communication is invaluable. We are always open to negotiations and build win-win collaboration strategies. This approach drives the best results. That is why we stick to our core values:

  • Individuals and interactions over processes and tools
  • Working software over comprehensive documentation
  • Customer collaboration over contract negotiation
  • Responding to change over following a plan

Services used on projects

We use tracking software to make clear reports, monitor the team’s workflow, track progress, and analyze life cycle stages.

Our team uses the following tools to deliver the project:

  • Jira
  • Trello
  • Confluence
  • Bitbucket
  • GitHub
  • GitLab
  • TFS
  • Basecamp
  • AWS

As there is a wide range of suitable tools, we can easily switch to another service that our client prefers and is used to working with.

Methods

Agile methodology is a flexible approach in project management that is used by the software development team to provide accurate estimation, deliver results on time, build a stable working system by breaking up a project into a few stages, and implementing each stage through continuous collaboration with the client. This method allows both parties to have a clear understanding of the tasks, to adjust to new features, to plan and control all stages of the software development process. The agile method responds to changing priorities without going off the rails. Thus, the team has a clearly described scope of tasks to implement, while the customer has a vision of product increments.

There are two frameworks commonly used in the Agile methodology that we work with: Scrum and Kanban.

Scum is a framework for developing, delivering, and sustaining complex products. The development team splits the project into several short sprints. During planning meetings, the team defines the scope of tasks and roadblocks that it needs to overcome. The customer is able to add new features, apply changes to the product backlog and track the status of implementation.

Kanban is a widely adopted framework that focuses on just-in-time delivery of functionality and creates a continuous workflow. In Kanban, all processes are visualized by Kanban cards that are moved through the working process from start to finish. It creates a constant working flow as required by the client.

If the methods listed above don’t suit your project, we also suggest using a mix of these two approaches — Scrumban. Scrumban is a framework that combines the two approaches together: Scrum and Kanban. This method is suitable for projects when structure, clear deadlines, and estimations are needed as well as flexibility. By using this method, the team focuses on strategic tasks and improves processes continuously at the same time. The team benefits from this method if the project requires maintenance, support or managing improvements.

Having worked on many tech projects and gained deep expertise in software development processes, we realize the necessity of choosing the right methodology. We adjust our knowledge base to the client’s needs. Therefore, we empower project development by using various methods and tools for effective product development management.
