The company's flagship product, the REFILL+ station, is a smart hydration system designed for offices and commercial spaces. It offers purified water enhanced with vitamins, minerals, and natural flavors, providing a healthier alternative to traditional bottled drinks without the associated plastic waste. The system allows to track device state, errors, and logs. All the devices purchased by the customer are integrated into the system and available for review and remote control.

Role Description

We are seeking a Backend Laravel Developer to join our growing team. You’ll work closely with senior engineers and product owners to design, develop, and maintain backend solutions for our innovative hydration systems. This role will focus on backend development, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability of our platform.

Requirements

• 4 years of experience in Laravel development
• Strong understanding of database design and management with MySQL and MongoDB.
• Strong experience in raw SQL
• Experience with PHPUnit
• Strong Experience in REST API development
• Familiarity with Nginx for server management.
• Experience with Docker for containerized application development.
• Experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and communicate ideas clearly.
• Upper-intermediate level of spoken English or higher.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Laravel, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
• Design and optimize database schemas with MySQL and MongoDB.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and resolve issues.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices.
• Optimize system performance and scalability using Nginx.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Work with version control and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, ensuring platform stability.

Will be a plus

• Experience in IoT or similar industries.
• Knowledge of containerized application development (e.g., Docker).
• Familiarity with Traefik for managing reverse proxies.
• Enthusiasm for sustainability and environmental initiatives.
